July 4th, 2008 Harrisburg Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
Harrisburg A whole day of fun on the 4th, beginning with a parade down the main street, and ending with a spectacular fireworks display. Enjoy the Firemen's Breakfast, at the Harrisburg Fire Station, the parade and then the Chamber of Commerce's Chicken BBQ at the Harrisburg Museum.

Scandinavian Festival

Junction City

Since 1961, the people of Junction City have celebrated the Scandinavian heritage of early settlers by transforming the downtown area into a charming old world town. The popular 4-day event features quality crafts and free entertainment.

Parade of Lights
A fairyland phantasmagoria of lights as local businesses decorate floats that parade through the city streets lined with families. Friday night it parades in Junction City, and the following night parades through Harrisburg. Sunday night it repeats once more in Coburg.

February 2009 Community Showcase

 

Over 40 booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations in our community. This is an opportunity to acquaint yourself with local resources and get questions answered. Its a free family-friendly event! Food and drinks will be available.
March 21 & 22 2009 Daffodil Drive & Festival
Junction City Crafts, displays, fresh cinnamon buns, and of course 4 miles of daffodil-lined country roads. This popular 2-day annual event is sponsored by the Long Tom Grange. Here's a map.

55th Annual Pet Parade sponsored by Junction City B.P.W.

Enjoy a small-town extravaganza starring, dogs, cats, and who knows? It's a fun family event to participate in or watch. Along with the parade you'll find a Touch-A-Truck event where children can climb in and on fire trucks, ambulances, and tractors. All the downtown merchants and both museums are open as well making it a great way to welcome spring!

Function 4 Junction : Fabulous Show & Shine and Cruise-In!
Junction City Step back in time and spend a great day with the family at this popular event. Show 'n Shine goes between 8am-2pm
